Millennium’s Management Controls and Internal Audit Group (MCIA) supports Millennium's Compliance, Legal & Ethics Oversight (CLEO). Within MCIA, the IT Audit group plays a crucial role in evaluating the firm's IT systems and processes. Their mission is to recommend improvements to Millennium’s internal control structure, addressing technology, cyber, operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.

We are seeking a forward-thinking and analytical individual to join the MCIA department as an IT Audit Lead. The Opportunity: IT Audit Lead

As an IT Audit Lead, you will be tasked with leading IT audit engagements from planning through execution, continuously striving to enhance processes and procedures. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on Millennium's control environment and risk management practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and perform IT and integrated audit engagements, with support from IT Auditors. Focus areas include IT core infrastructure, trade execution and processing infrastructure, critical applications, and IT general controls.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering a culture of engagement and value addition.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the technology organization, various business areas, and support functions.
• Support the Head of Information Technology Audit with audit planning, scope design, internal control assessments, issue identification and reporting, and monitoring of remediation plans.
• Participate in department-wide initiatives aimed at continually improving firm processes and the overall control environment.
• Assist with the annual risk assessment process, audit plan creation, and other departmental administrative projects.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• 12+ years of IT audit experience, with significant exposure to core IT infrastructure, cyber security, equities trading, fixed-income trading, operations, and/or trade support functions.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills coupled with proven experience in effective relationship-building.
• Effective communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to management and inspire positive change.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with core IT infrastructure platforms (e.g., Windows, Unix, Sybase, SQL), cyber security principles, cloud technology, networks, firewalls, and/or data analytics.
• Extensive knowledge of the audit lifecycle and expertise in evaluating IT general controls and IT automated controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, or another relevant field.
• A related professional certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIA) is highly desired.
• Domestic and international travel requirements for this role are minimal, typically 0%-10%.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this IT Audit Lead position is $160,000 to $250,000, specifically for New York, and may be subject to future adjustments. Millennium offers a comprehensive total compensation package which includes a base salary, a discretionary performance bonus, and a robust benefits package. When extending an offer, an individual’s experience level and qualifications are carefully considered to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
