Fundamental Equity Analyst India - Mumbai
Millennium is seeking a talented Fundamental Equity Research Analyst to join our Mumbai office. This role is a key position within a dynamic global investment team, collaborating with members across various locations. You will play a crucial role in developing the team’s investment strategy and driving top performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to conduct fundamental research, initially focusing on India equity, with a gradual expansion into other regional markets like South East Asia and Australia.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify investment opportunities and risks.
- Develop and maintain detailed company financial models and conduct thorough valuation analyses.
- Engage in corporate meetings, perform channel checks, and participate in industry/investor events.
- Contribute to the research and idea generation process through comprehensive written and verbal reports.
- Work closely with other team members on regular and ad-hoc research projects.
Requirements
- Exceptional academic performance and ideally a CFA charterholder.
- 3-5 years of experience in sell-side or buy-side equity research, investment banking, or a related finance role.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with proven proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
