Data Analyst

In our Quotative Modeling and Technology group, we build next generation in-house analytics and portfolio manager tools. A broad range of high quality, reliable data is critical for our capabilities.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at Millennium, you will work closely with quantitative analysts to define data quality criteria and implement them, primarily using Python. You will also identify various sources of financial market data and build consistent historical datasets for asset classes such as interest rates and foreign exchange. In addition, you will generate historical time series to facilitate extensive backtesting and scenario analysis of financial portfolios.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of Python scripting experience.
• Proficiency with Numpy and Pandas packages.
• Academic degree in a quantitative field (Math, CS, Sciences) or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem solving skills.
• Solid communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented, organized and demonstrates strong ownership of work.
• Basic knowledge of statistics; experience with statistical packages is a plus.
• Experience with financial data is optional.

Location & Work Arrangement

This role is based on-site in the Bursa area of Ramat Gan, Israel. Proficiency in English is required.
