Job Summary

The IT Help Desk Technician - First Shift provides technical support and assistance to Millennium employees and contractors through phone, email, and in person. This role ensures client satisfaction by resolving issues with PCs and technology. This position requires working first shift and is part of level 2 technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Help Desk tickets timely using Service Now.
  • Respond to customer issues via phone, email, and chat.
  • Document customer interactions and run diagnostics.
  • Support new employee onboarding and escalate issues as needed.
  • Install, adjust, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Technical degree or 2+ years in help desk support.
  • Proficiency with Dell Computers and Windows 10/11.
  • Excellent oral communication; detail oriented and organized.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Active Directory and Office365 enterprise.
  • Experience with IP Phones and supporting new employee onboarding.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Associate, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+.

This IT role is for level 2 support with a salary range guideline provided. Millennium is a DDTC-registered and ITAR-compliant company, and the role requires special access and security clearance.
