Position Overview

The Sr Product Manager Hoopla Digital is an Area Product Owner responsible for defining the company’s vision for the overall platform capabilities and delivery of a superior patron experience through an all-in-one digital library media platform. This role requires close collaboration with technical and non-technical teams to identify, prioritize, and define product features benefitting librarians and patrons alike.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine the Hoopla Digital product strategy and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with product vertical leaders for integrated experiences.
  • Lead planning and prioritization using agile workflow and sprint plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve key business problems.
  • Manage and coach Business Systems Analysts, Feature Product Owners, and Systems Optimization team.
  • Follow all policies and contribute to work efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate solid software development process knowledge, strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks, data analytics, digital optimization, web, eCommerce, and mobile technologies is essential. Experience with JIRA, Trello, and similar tools, as well as proven leadership and management skills are required. Detail orientation and organizational skills are a must.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, marketing, or related field.
  • Professional Agile training or certification.
  • 10+ years of Agile, product, or project management experience.

Work Environment and Benefits

The role is hybrid for local candidates within 60 miles of Holland, OH after a 60-day orientation; remote for others with periodic travel to HQ. Candidates must reside in selected states. Work hours are 8:30am-5:00pm EST.
