Solution Architect I

The Principal Solution Architect drives and oversees the functional design and technical architecture of large and complex software solutions that span multiple platforms. This role ensures technical designs are in line with the Enterprise Reference Architecture and supports strategic adoption across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop visions, roadmaps, and architectures for software solutions.
  • Drive functional design, technical architecture, and cost estimates (20%).
  • Lead development of the technical competency center (60%).
  • Mentor and train software engineers and business analysts (10%).
  • Conduct peer review of technical architecture (5%).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Software Engineering, or Engineering required; Master or Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience and at least 5 years in technical design.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Apex, .Net, SQL, and methodologies including OOD, SOA, UML, and business process modeling.
  • Experience with integration technologies, Cloud solutions, SaaS, ESB, BRMS, BPM, and MQ.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business leaders, IT executives, and technical staff.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $124,600.00 - $155,000.00.
