Training Specialist at Microsoft (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a major enterprise resource planning transformation initiative supporting a corporate accounting organization of 5,000 professionals. The Training Specialist will be responsible for developing a comprehensive catalog of engaging, short-form AI-powered video content designed to facilitate knowledge transfer and system adoption during a multi-year ERP transition. This role requires a unique blend of financial acumen and multimedia production expertise, as the specialist will translate complex accounting processes and system changes into accessible, visually compelling training materials. Working at the intersection of finance, technology, and instructional design, the specialist will leverage cutting-edge AI tools to create reusable learning assets that will directly impact the success of this large-scale organizational change initiative.
Job Responsibilities
- Gather and curate source content from various formats including meeting recordings, word documents, and PowerPoint presentations
- Produce short-form video content that explains finance and accounting concepts related to the new ERP system
- Utilize Microsoft 365 Copilot to generate visual elements and initial video drafts
- Edit and finalize multimedia content using Clipchamp or similar video editing platforms
- Collaborate with finance subject matter experts to develop accurate scripts and storyboards
- Create visually compelling infographics and other visual aids to support learning objectives
- Build and maintain a centralized library of reusable multimedia training assets
- Ensure all content aligns with organizational branding standards and project objectives
- Translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, engaging training materials
- Manage multiple content development projects simultaneously while meeting quality standards and deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with accounting concepts and financial processes
- Minimum 3 years of experience translating complex business concepts into training materials
- Minimum 3 years of experience with video editing tools, specifically Clipchamp or similar platforms
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience using Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Previous experience supporting training initiatives for finance or accounting teams preferred
- Background in consulting or organizational transformation projects highly desirable
- Experience with ERP system transitions or implementations is a strong advantage
- Accounting principles and financial concepts
- Translating complex business processes into accessible training content
- Video production and editing using Clipchamp or similar tools such as Adobe Premiere or After Effects
- Microsoft 365 Copilot for content generation and visual creation
- Scriptwriting and storytelling for instructional purposes
- Visual design and infographic creation

Additional Details
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 4 months
- Pay Range*: $37.50 - $42.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
