We are seeking a Technology Consultant to drive opportunities for expanding or accelerating the adoption and consumption of cloud and Microsoft technologies. Responsibilities
As a Technology Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Business Development: Identifying opportunities to expand or accelerate the adoption and consumption of cloud and Microsoft technologies.
- Intellectual Property Management: Developing knowledge in intellectual property (IP), leveraging IP for assigned project tasks, communicating areas needing refreshing or gaps, contributing to IP development with guidance, and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Completing operational tasks, ensuring timeliness and accuracy, and adhering to Microsoft policies, compliance, and procedures (e.g., Enterprise Services Authorization Policy, Standards of Business Conduct, labor logging, expenses, travel guidelines).
- Readiness: Learning new technologies or services based on business demands and industry trends, obtaining relevant accreditations and certifications as advised, sharing experiences and best practices within the team, and participating in relevant technical communities at Microsoft.
- Technical Delivery: Implementing technical solutions by completing assigned project tasks with defined quality standards and following Industry Solutions processes. This includes supporting project planning by understanding and documenting risks and dependencies, developing test specifications and operations guides, managing schedules and communicating with project leads, and delivering against Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). You will also seek to understand customer/partner/stakeholder relationships, contribute to drivers of satisfaction/dissatisfaction, follow capacity processes, maintain tools with up-to-date skills and availability, and participate in meetings to understand business needs. Furthermore, you will use technology knowledge to define customer/partner requirements and constraints, engage others to define requirements, and identify/resolve issues and risks with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field; OR equivalent experience.
Other Qualifications
Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements for this role. These include, but are not limited to:
- An active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance is required.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
- Clearance Verification: Successful verification of the stated security clearance is required prior to an offer of employment.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position requires passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: U.S. citizenship verification is required due to citizenship-based legal restrictions, as this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local government agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) work experience in a relevant business area, such as cloud infrastructure or deploying Azure environments.
- Technical certifications demonstrating applied experience in the role’s domain or service area (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics).
- Training or certifications reflecting experience leading work through structured delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Change Management, or Project Management.
