Overview
Join Microsoft Customer Experience and Success (CE&S) to empower customers with Microsoft products and services. As a Technical Support Engineer - Windows Commercial Devices and Deployment, you will own, troubleshoot and solve complex customer technical issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvements.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
- Response and Resolution: Own and resolve challenging technical issues and advise customers.
- Readiness: Lead communities, share knowledge, and mentor peers through training and readiness programs.
- Product/Process Improvement: Collaborate with Engineering and Supportability teams to investigate defects and drive automation and diagnostic solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Australian Citizenship and location in Australia.
- 5+ years technical support or technical consulting experience or a Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT with 3+ years experience.
- Experience in Windows System Administration including Registry, Activation, Setup, Upgrade, Update and Security tools such as TPM and Bitlocker.
- Familiarity with managing Windows Update for Business, MDT, SCCM, Autopilot, and enterprise compliance policies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and networking fundamentals.
- Flexibility for shift work as per operational demand.
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and security screenings.
