About the Role

As a Technical Support Engineer SharePoint Copilot at Microsoft, you will own, troubleshoot, and solve complex customer technical issues while advising customers using Microsoft products. You will work within the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team to provide seamless support experiences with Microsoft AI technology and SharePoint expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Response and Resolution: Investigate and solve complex technical issues using advanced troubleshooting tools.
  • Readiness: Build communities, mentor peers, and conduct technical coaching and readiness programs.
  • Product/Process Improvement: Collaborate with Engineering and Supportability teams to address product defects and develop automation techniques.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field with 3+ years of experience, or 5+ years of technical support or consulting experience, or equivalent experience.

Advanced Experience With

  • SharePoint Online & OnPrem architecture
  • SharePoint development (SPFx, REST APIs, CSOM, PowerShell)
  • SharePoint migration tools (ShareGate, Metalogix)
  • Performance tuning and diagnostics
  • Copilot integration within SharePoint and Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Graph API and related data connectors

Familiarity With

  • OneDrive and Office 365 interoperability
  • AI-driven productivity tools in Modern Work
  • Security features in SharePoint and Microsoft 365

Work Schedule & Citizenship

This role offers flexibility with up to 50% remote work. It requires supporting customers in the New Zealand time zone and may include shift rotations. Australian citizenship verification is required.
