Role Overview: Technical Support Engineer - SCIM Endpoint

As a Technical Support Engineer in CSS, you will own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues related to Defender for Endpoint and Defender AV. This role offers an opportunity to accelerate your career growth, hone problem-solving, and enhance technical proficiency. Up to 50% remote work is available.

Responsibilities

  • Response and Resolution: Own, investigate, and solve customer technical issues using advanced troubleshooting tools.
  • Readiness: Build and share technical knowledge; participate in training and community initiatives.
  • Product/Process Improvement: Identify and escalate product defects to contribute to product enhancements.

Qualifications

Required 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience, or a Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT or related field plus 3+ years of experience.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Defender for Endpoint and Defender AV on Windows, troubleshooting scanning and performance issues, and incident investigation.

Nice to Have: Experience with Defender on Linux and macOS and Linux platform proficiency.

Additional Information

This role offers flexible working shifts to meet business needs. It requires passing Microsoft's Cloud Background Check and other security screenings.
