About the Role
The Technical Support Engineer SCIM Compliance at Microsoft is part of the Customer Experience and Success organization. This team is dedicated to empowering customers by delivering seamless technical support and leveraging Microsoft’s advanced AI technology to resolve issues quickly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, investigate, and resolve customer technical issues.
- Collaborate within and across teams using troubleshooting tools.
- Engage in training and readiness to develop technical proficiency.
- Identify product defects and escalate for improvements.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
Must have 3+ years technical support, consulting, or IT experience (or a Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT with equivalent experience). Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Compliance workloads is essential, including working with Sensitivity Labels, Retention policies, eDiscovery workflows, DLP configuration, and PowerShell commands. Familiarity with message traces, audit logs, and tools such as Microsoft 365 Defender and the Security & Compliance Center is required.
Nice to Have
- Graph API experience for compliance data access.
- Experience with Information Barriers, Insider Risk policies, Communication Compliance and related certifications (SC-400, SC-200/SC-300).
Work Schedule & Additional Information
This role offers flexibility with up to 100% remote work and may require various shift rotations depending on business needs, along with security screening requirements such as the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
