About the Role
Microsoft's Customer Experience and Success (CE&S) organization is on a mission to empower customers through differentiated experiences. The Technical Support Engineer - SCCM role within the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team involves owning, troubleshooting, and solving customer technical issues while leveraging Microsoft’s AI technology and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Response and Resolution: Own, investigate, and resolve customer technical issues.
- Readiness: Build communities, share technical expertise, and participate in training.
- Product/Process Improvement: Identify product defects and contribute to enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; 2+ years in customer-facing technical roles; proven skills in cloud/infrastructure technologies.
Core Skills MECM Include
- Expertise in Microsoft Configuration Manager (current and previous versions) and Microsoft Intune.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager Administration, High Availability, and MECM Hierarchies.
- Advanced troubleshooting, task sequence creation, WSUS, software update management, and co-management implementation.
- Experience with Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022) and related tools like Netmon, Perfmon, and SQL Profiler.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, security, networking (DNS, DHCP), and IIS configurations.
Additional Information
This role offers up to 50% remote work flexibility and is based in Sydney. Language skills in Korean, Japanese, or Chinese/Mandarin are preferred. Australian Citizenship is also preferred, and candidates must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check screening. Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
