Overview
Microsoft's Customer Experience and Success (CE&S) organization is on a mission to accelerate business value through exceptional customer experiences. Join the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team as a Technical Support Engineer Messaging Protection to own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues using cutting-edge Microsoft AI technology.
Responsibilities
This role involves:
- Response and Resolution: Investigate and solve customer technical issues using troubleshooting tools.
- Readiness: Build communities, share knowledge, and enhance technical proficiency through training.
- Product/Process Improvement: Identify product defects and escalate to drive Microsoft product improvements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field and 1+ years of technical support or equivalent experience, or 3+ years of technical support experience.
Additional Attributes: CyberDefender Mindset, proactive and collaborative approach.
Preferred Qualifications: Chinese proficiency, cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, Comptia Security+, etc.), customer service training, experience with enterprise-level premier customers, and strong knowledge in messaging protection including Exchange Online and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
Work Arrangement
This role offers flexible remote work (up to 100% from home) while meeting Microsoft and customer security screening requirements.
