Overview
Microsoft's Customer Experience and Success organization is on a mission to empower customers by delivering exceptional support using advanced AI technology. In the Technical Support Engineer Intune role, you will own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer IT issues, particularly focused on Intune and related cloud services.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Investigate and solve technical issues using troubleshooting tools.
- Collaborate across teams to share knowledge and best practices.
- Develop technical skills through training and community involvement.
- Identify and escalate potential product defects for improvements.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field is required along with 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure or IT support roles; 2+ years in a customer-facing role and technical projects are also necessary.
Core Skills - Intune
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience with Windows Autopilot and advanced troubleshooting
- Familiarity with device enrollment, policy deployment, and app management
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi)
- Proficiency in using remote support tools such as Microsoft Teams
Additional Information
This role is based in Sydney and offers flexible work arrangements with up to 50% remote work. Proficiency in Korean, Japanese, or Chinese/Mandarin is preferred. Security screenings, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check, are required.
