Overview
Microsoft AI is at the forefront of responsible development and global deployment of AI. The Technical Program Manager - Responsible AI works closely with teams across Microsoft to address AI safety, governance, and risk ensuring that our principles and commitments are met in a timely, product-first manner.
This role places you in the heart of the evolving AI landscape. You will join a fast-growing, interdisciplinary team and collaborate with experts from technical and non-technical backgrounds. This role also supports the development, training, and adoption of Responsible AI practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to embed Responsible AI practices in products.
- Partner with the Office of Responsible AI and CELA to refine governance.
- Act as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training materials to boost Responsible AI awareness.
Qualifications
Required: Experience in Generative AI in engineering, product, policy or technical program management roles; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; strong organizational and communication skills; and ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
Preferred: Experience on complex legal or governance projects in tech and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act and GDPR.
Work Arrangements
This position requires work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week for eligible employees.
