Technical Program Manager AI/ML

Overview

At Microsoft AI, our mission is to train the world’s most capable AI frontier models. This role is with the Microsoft Superintelligence Team, a startup-like group inside Microsoft AI that is pioneering ultra-capable systems aligned with human values.

About the Role

The Technical Program Manager AI/ML will collaborate with AI researchers, engineers, and product teams to coordinate large-scale, time-sensitive programs. This role involves end-to-end program planning, risk mitigation, and driving cross-team projects while leveraging data analytics for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end program planning and execution
• Coordinate across product teams, engineers, and researchers
• Identify gaps, track progress, and mitigate risks
• Communicate strategies and updates to executive leadership
• Collaborate on data engineering, model training, and feedback loops

Qualifications

Required: STEM bachelor’s degree, 6+ years experience in technical program management, AI, data analysis or product development, and experience managing cross-functional projects. Preferred: 10+ years experience in similar roles.
