Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding. The Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure behind this growth, including AI! CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale.
Role Overview
The Sr. Program Manager - Cloud Planning will work within Microsoft Cloud Planning (MCP), the central planning function in CSCP focused on forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning for all Microsoft Cloud services and associated hardware. This role directly impacts the success of Microsoft’s cloud business by managing traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, and also supportability, sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee demand and supply planning processes for cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planning with business needs.
- Optimize the forecasting processes and manage supply chain functions.
- Support planning for over 200 online businesses and 300 datacenters worldwide.
- Ensure scalable infrastructure for Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and Azure.
