About Microsoft and the Role
Microsoft’s Commercial Solution Area (CSA) sets the sales strategy, leads technical sales, and operations as a hub for the Commercial Solution Areas and Support Services powering the Microsoft Cloud. As a Solution Engineer, you work with Microsoft teams and partners to win the technical decision of customers and drive cloud adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions for Azure Migration using demos and tools.
- Develop customer migration strategies and remove technical blockers.
- Design solutions with deep architectural and technical expertise.
- Drive Proof of Concepts (POC) and Minimal Viable Products (MVP).
- Collaborate with account teams and partners to build customer roadmaps.
- Provide customer insights to drive product improvements and create new pipelines.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has technical pre-sales or consulting experience with a strong background in cloud technologies. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, along with Azure certifications and deep domain expertise in Data Center Migration, Windows Server, SQL Server Migration, VMware, Networking, and related technologies. Experience in creating cloud migration PoCs and MVPs is essential, as are strong communication and relationship building skills.
