Overview

As a Solution Architect, Azure, you will work with customers to deliver complex multi-domain architectures and high ROI solutions focused on the Azure platform, Modern work platforms, Web Development, Data & AI, and DevOps, while integrating on-premises infrastructure and security solutions.

Responsibilities

Trusted Advisor: Develop and nurture senior-level decision-maker relationships, advise external stakeholders, and articulate Microsoft solutions to differentiate from competitors.

Thought Leadership: Lead virtual teams, mentor junior colleagues, and share insights on Microsoft architectures and industry trends.

Architecture Design and Deployment: Gather requirements, create costed solution approaches, lead implementation with Agile and other methodologies, and manage technical blockers and risks.

Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment: Adapt business solutions to customer needs and industry trends, advocate for customers, and drive intellectual property improvements.

Practice Development: Promote reuse of intellectual property and best practices in pre-sales and delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10+ years experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, integration or systems architecture with at least 2 years hands-on experience. Expertise in multi-domain architecture including cloud, web, mobile, API-driven integration, data, analytics, security, and DevOps. Proven experience in Agile IT projects and enterprise program transformations, specifically in environments such as the Public Sector. This role requires Australian citizenship verification due to legal restrictions.
