Have you ever imagined a world with an infinite amount of storage available and accessible to everyone? The Microsoft Azure Storage team is building a massively scalable, highly distributed, and ubiquitously accessible storage system designed to serve the entire world. As a Software Quality Engineer II, you will work to build and support reliable, secure, and high-performance storage access for customers. This role challenges you to monitor, analyze, and design testing plans to cater to ever-growing data needs while ensuring privacy, protection, and compliance.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Define scope and create quality test plans for multiple features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and solidify test plans.
- Identify areas needing further exploration or testing using data insights.
- Build custom visualizations to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Implement automated testing using scripting languages such as C# and Python.
- Develop and maintain automation tools to reduce manual testing tasks.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years in system testing with coding experience in languages like C, C++, C#, or Python, or equivalent experience.
Other Requirements: Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other security screenings.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of industry experience in system testing for networking, storage, or virtualization products with coding experience.
