Overview
The Services Account Executive at Microsoft contributes to the thinking of the Account Team and the Consulting account team, determining planning prioritization for multiple assigned accounts and proactively seeking customer feedback.
Responsibilities
Accelerate Cloud Growth: Build up-to-date customer knowledge, identify and qualify strategic industry cloud opportunities, drive Microsoft Cloud differentiation, and educate decision makers with Microsoft Consulting go-to-market scenarios.
Account Team Orchestration: Orchestrate the consulting-sales relationship with the core account team, coordinate among various teams, and ensure a positive One Microsoft customer experience.
Deal Excellence: Develop quality close plans using BANT information, manage customer procurement processes, and drive deal velocity while ensuring margin targets and smooth transitions between sales and delivery accountabilities.
Relationship Management: Proactively gather feedback, resolve issues, and build strong relationships by planning stakeholder connections.
Strategy and Planning: Determine priority of multiple assigned accounts, engage in long term planning, and leverage business insights and methodologies to drive digital transformations.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years industry sales experience (or 6+ years in certain sectors) and 2+ years consulting solution sales experience.
Preferred: Advanced degrees and extensive consulting solution sales experience, particularly in industries like healthcare and life sciences, along with Microsoft technology experience.
Additional Details
Consulting Account Management IC4 position with a typical base pay range across the U.S. and specific higher ranges for San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
