About the Role
The Azure High Performance Computing & Artificial Intelligence (HPC & AI) team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help define, build, and manage AI supercomputers at a massive scale. This role involves ensuring customers have a world-class experience on infrastructure that is reliable and easy to use. You will partner closely with end customers to understand their needs, identify pain points, and drive improvements. Collaboration with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and developers is key to resolving challenges and introducing new tooling and features.

Responsibilities
- Engage directly with end customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and proactively identify service-impacting issues and feature gaps.
- Partner with Site Reliability Engineers and developers to resolve support drivers, introduce new tooling and features, and ensure continuous improvement of the customer experience.
- Collaborate with partner teams, systems integrators, and other vendors to build golden configurations and deployment strategies with minimal user impact.
- Collect and review service telemetry to identify impactful issues affecting service health, uncover opportunities to enhance the customer experience, and drive iterative improvements for ongoing service quality.
- Leverage data and AI tools to analyze user behavior or feedback, working with data scientists or engineering to implement AI-driven improvements.
- Incorporate security factors and implement security-by-default principles in features, services, and experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience bringing a product, feature, or experience to market and improving its metrics.
- 4+ years of experience improving product metrics in a market.
- 4+ years of experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing or leading cross-functional hardware programs.
- 3+ years of experience partnering with SRE or infrastructure engineering teams to improve service health.
- 3+ years of experience owning and prioritizing a product backlog using operational and customer signals.
