About the Role
The Senior Product Manager - AI at Microsoft designs and drives the development of AI-powered capabilities for the Channel Agent in Microsoft Teams. This role is crucial to enhancing collaboration and productivity by delivering intelligent, context-aware features that empower users through natural language interaction.
Responsibilities
- Drive AI-powered feature development for Teams channels.
- Translate user needs into clear feature requirements.
- Design and iterate on prompts, grounding strategies, and agent behaviors.
- Lead qualitative and quantitative evaluations including human-in-the-loop testing.
- Collaborate with Applied Science and cross-functional teams for integration.
- Define success metrics and drive continuous improvement through testing and feedback.
- Champion responsible AI practices in line with Microsoft’s ethical principles.
Qualifications
Candidates need a Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years’ experience in product management or equivalent, 3+ years bringing user-facing products to market, and 4+ years improving product metrics. Security screening including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check is required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience shipping AI-powered products or agents.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, grounding, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience in conversational UX and multi-turn dialogue system design.
Compensation & Additional Information
