The Finance Privacy Program, a global function, is responsible for providing high-quality privacy, risk management, compliance monitoring, and advisory services across all Finance teams, including corporate finance, product and sales finance, and global workplace services and physical security. This program supports the entire Global Finance organization.

As a Senior Privacy Manager, based in the Dublin office, you will be a crucial member of the Finance Privacy Program. Your role will involve enabling a range of privacy governance activities to ensure that all parts of the Global Finance organization adhere to Microsoft Privacy Standards and global privacy regulations.

Responsibilities of a Senior Privacy Manager

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to specific Finance stakeholders, addressing privacy inquiries, evaluating risks, and offering expert privacy advice.
  • Develop and maintain strategies and processes to ensure compliance with Microsoft privacy policies and standards.
  • Design and create comprehensive process documentation relevant to the responsibilities of this position.
  • Collaborate with key Finance stakeholders to ensure privacy documentation and compliance for all personal data handling within Global Finance, including Privacy Reviews, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and Records of Processing Activities.
  • Work in conjunction with other privacy teams to integrate efforts and further develop cross-company privacy processes and documentation.
  • Partner with the Incident Management Lead and Legal team to ensure the Finance Incident Management process meets all requirements of the Microsoft Privacy Standard and to help resolve complex incidents and drive decisions.
  • Support the privacy incident program by accurately reporting, escalating, and managing privacy issues/incidents across Europe and Asia-Pacific time zones.
  • Contribute to global privacy or security projects related to emerging technologies and regulations, such as Artificial Intelligence, Executive Orders, and local privacy laws.
  • Develop and track metrics to assess the effectiveness of work performed, preparing monthly/quarterly reports and summaries.

Qualifications

Minimum/Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk, Engineering, or a related field, combined with experience in Finance, risk management, audit, or compliance; OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Privacy program management or a related Privacy function.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in risk, finance, accounting, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Privacy Certification – CIPM or CIPP.
  • Extensive experience with a combination of Risk Management, Privacy, Project Management, and Controls design and execution.
  • A strong understanding of privacy policy, the regulatory landscape, and privacy risk, with demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge to applications and processes.
  • Experience working effectively with geographically diverse groups.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across a complex matrix and functional boundaries.
  • Proven program management experience, managing multiple projects with diverse goals.

This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
