This role supports Microsoft 365 and the Experiences + Devices group, aiming to foster a data-informed culture with actionable insights.

Role Responsibilities

  • Create impactful data narratives and storytelling across various mediums.
  • Oversee progress on research projects with clear, actionable communication.
  • Coach team members on data storytelling fundamentals.
  • Develop comprehensive cross-team research and data science strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between research teams and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related field, with extensive experience in data science and data storytelling. Candidates should also have hands-on research experience and a proven track record in managing complex projects, along with demonstrated skills in coaching and project management.

Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft security screening requirements including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role in the U.S. is typically USD 163,000 - 296,400 per year, with variations in certain regions.
