Position Overview
The Senior Designer at Microsoft is responsible for researching and designing AI-powered experiences that solve challenging customer problems. As part of the Industry Solutions Engineering team, you will collaborate with customers, Microsoft product teams, data scientists, program managers, and engineers to co-create cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate design-led ideation and product specification with stakeholders.
- Deliver detailed end-to-end designs for digital experiences.
- Apply responsible AI principles and conduct both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Produce impactful artifacts including visualizations and detailed findings.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to shape evidence-based solutions.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design or a related field, supplemented by relevant industry experience. Experience in shipping products and using design thinking is crucial along with a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research, especially as applied to AI and digital product experiences.
