Overview

The Senior Corporate Counsel role at Microsoft is part of the Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA) Asia Deal Team. This opportunity focuses on advising and supporting complex transactions across the Asia region, including technology deals, M&A, strategic partnerships and more. It involves working directly with business leaders, multidisciplinary internal teams, customers, partners, and outside counsels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support for complex technology transactions.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and structure integrated agreements.
  • Advise on emerging technology business models including AI.
  • Coordinate with CELA and subject matter experts.
  • Utilize outside counsel and guide escalations for timely closure.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Juris Doctorate (or international equivalent) and an active legal license. Preferred qualifications include over 6 years of experience in law firm or in-house roles focused on complex transactions, excellent negotiation skills, and a capacity to work in a fast-paced and matrixed environment.
