Job Overview

The Security Solution Area Specialist at Microsoft is passionate about helping Education organizations unlock the full potential of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence capabilities. In this role, you will lead strategic engagements with K–12 customers, aligning their security needs with Microsoft’s integrated security, compliance, identity, and AI solutions.

Responsibilities

Sales Excellence: Lead discovery and qualification of new cybersecurity and AI platform opportunities. Develop compelling business cases and maintain a healthy pipeline. Scaling and Collaboration: Collaborate with account and technical teams, coordinate internal and partner resources, and deliver proof-of-concepts. Industry Awareness: Facilitate customer workshops, deliver solution demonstrations, and employ available tools for education. Sales Execution: Strengthen customer engagements, drive digital transformation and support growth across accounts. Learning: Stay current with industry trends and engage in skilling programs to support customer adoption.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field with technology-related sales or account management experience, or equivalent experience. Preferred: Master’s Degree with relevant experience, solution sales or consulting background, experience in Non-Profit/Education sectors, and relevant Microsoft certifications (SC-100, SC-900 or equivalents).
