Overview

As a Security Solution Area Specialist at Microsoft, you will lead strategic engagements with Education organizations, identify cybersecurity needs, and align them with Microsoft’s integrated security, compliance, identity, and AI solutions. You will guide customers on their digital transformation journey, employing a Zero Trust mindset and Copilot-based security experiences to protect digital estates and streamline operations.

Responsibilities

The role involves several key areas:

  • Sales Excellence: Discover and qualify Cyber Security and AI opportunities, build relationships, and maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Scaling and Collaboration: Collaborate with account and technical teams, coordinate with partners to deliver proof-of-concepts and minimum viable solutions.
  • Industry Awareness: Facilitate customer workshops, deliver solution demonstrations, and use available tools for customer education.
  • Sales Execution: Engage senior decision-makers, drive customer outcomes and increase account adoption.
  • Learning: Stay updated with industry trends and participate in skilling programs.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field and technology-related sales or account management experience (or equivalent experience).

Preferred: Master's Degree with relevant experience, experience in Non-Profit/Education sectors, and certifications such as SC-100 or SC-900.
