Overview

Are you passionate about helping Education organisations unlock the full potential of their cybersecurity and artificial intelligence capabilities? As a Security Solution Area Specialist at Microsoft, you will lead strategic engagements with K–12 customers, identify their security needs and align them with Microsoft’s integrated security, compliance, identity, and AI solutions.

Role Responsibilities

You will guide customers through their digital transformation journey by demonstrating Microsoft’s security platform infused with AI and automation. Your focus will be on adopting a Zero Trust mindset, enhancing threat protection, and building resilience across digital estates.

  • Sales Excellence: Discover and qualify Cyber Security and AI opportunities, build long-term relationships, and maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Scaling & Collaboration: Work with account and technical teams, coordinate partner resources, and execute strategic customer engagement plans.
  • Industry Awareness: Facilitate workshops, deliver solution demonstrations, and use educational tools to uncover opportunities.
  • Sales Execution: Strengthen relationships with senior decision-makers, drive growth, and act on digital engagement signals.
  • Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, solution capabilities, and customer needs to support skilling programs.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field along with technology-related sales or account management experience, or equivalent experience.

Preferred: Master’s Degree, relevant solution sales or consulting services experience, experience in Non-Profit/Education, and certifications such as SC-100 and SC-900 (or equivalents).
