Principal Product Manager at Microsoft

Your opportunity to get in early on the fastest growing analytics platform on the market, Microsoft Fabric. The Microsoft Fabric team is looking for a Principal Product Manager to join the Fabric Shell & Product Led Growth team on our mission to drive 10x growth in usage while delivering such a delightfully productive developer experience that we earn fans who actively recommend the product to their peers.

We own lifecycle experiences (sign-up, trial and purchase) and the web IDE and drive product led growth via disciplined experimentation. We are actively building AI first developer experiences for data engineers, data scientists, database developers and BI engineers to develop and operate data solutions for their organizations.

This role provides the opportunity to learn from the product management team that took Power BI from 0 to $B+ business and to collaborate with Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team building the data platform for the age of AI, powering a new class of data-first applications and driving a data culture that empowers every person and every organization to achieve more with their data. Responsibilities

  • Customer/market insights (data + customer feedback + competitive)
  • Experimentation + metrics (OKRs/KPIs, funnels)
  • Product strategy/roadmap (vision, prioritization)
  • Build with engineering/design (ship, iterate, quality/security)
  • GTM + launch (partner with marketing, enablement)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical experience with one or more data technologies, especially databases, data warehousing, data engineering, business intelligence, real-time analytics
  • Experience with product-led growth especially in a B2B context
  • Experience developing experiences for professional developers
  • Experience developing AI-enabled products
