In collaboration with Oracle, we've developed Oracle Database@Azure, a pioneering multi-cloud solution that integrates Oracle's flagship database services into Azure datacenters. This service provides high performance, security, and reliability for Oracle databases on Azure, with seamless integration with native Azure services.

We are now advancing by embedding Azure’s cutting-edge AI capabilities into Oracle Database@Azure. As the Principal Product Manager, Azure AI Integration, you will spearhead the product vision and roadmap for integrating Azure AI services (including Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services) with Oracle database workloads on Azure. Your role will involve strategizing to unlock intelligent, AI-powered scenarios for enterprise customers, fundamentally transforming how businesses utilize data and AI together. You will collaborate extensively with Azure AI and Oracle engineering teams to design new features, validate AI-driven use cases with customers, and ensure solutions deliver comprehensive value while upholding enterprise-grade performance and security. Responsibilities

• Lead AI Integration Strategy: Define and execute the product vision and strategy for integrating Azure AI capabilities with Oracle Database@Azure, owning the roadmap for AI-driven features like applying Azure OpenAI and machine learning models to Oracle data on Azure.
• Product Roadmap & Delivery: Drive end-to-end product planning for AI integrations, from ideation and requirements through design, delivery, and global rollout, ensuring features meet customer needs and align with Azure and Oracle ecosystem goals.
• Customer Research & Scenario Validation: Engage directly with enterprise customers and partners to identify high-value AI use cases (e.g., predictive analytics, intelligent data retrieval) and conduct validation programs or previews to gather feedback and prioritize scenarios.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with Azure AI teams (Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services) and Oracle engineers to design seamless integrations, ensuring efficient collaboration with low latency and excellent user experience.
• Evangelism & Enablement: Champion the benefits of AI-enhanced Oracle Database@Azure solutions to internal and external stakeholders, working with field teams, Oracle, and partners to develop demos, whitepapers, and presentations, and presenting at key events to drive adoption.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Monitor industry trends in AI/ML and database technology, track usage metrics and customer success, and use data to drive continuous improvements while maintaining Azure’s standards for security, compliance, and performance.
• Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert for AI integrations within the OracleDB@Azure team, providing guidance to product managers and engineers on best practices for incorporating AI/ML, and influencing roadmaps with a clear vision of business value.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with AI/ML technologies, including building or integrating solutions involving machine learning models or natural language AI (e.g., large language models, predictive analytics).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud AI services, preferably Microsoft Azure AI (e.g., deploying or integrating solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services).
• 8+ years experience in Oracle or Oracle applications and database management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management OR software development OR equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives or projects across organizational boundaries.
• Experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., creating sample apps, scripting, technical demos) is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Azure AI services and ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, data analytics platforms like Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric).
• Domain experience in data platforms or enterprise databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Customer-facing experience, including gathering requirements, delivering presentations, or driving pilot programs.
• Innovation mindset and continuous learning regarding AI/ML advancements (generative AI, LLMs).
• Proficient product leadership skills, translating customer needs into product requirements and managing feature delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, presenting complex ideas to diverse audiences.
