About the Role
Are you ready to shape the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-scale storage solutions? The Principal Engineer Manager - Azure Storage at Microsoft will lead a high-impact team focused on enhancing the storage control plane and disks platform for rapidly growing AI-scale workloads.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements across teams.
- Guide teams to create design documents, optimize, debug, and refactor code.
- Oversee project plans, release schedules, and monitor system performance.
- Lead product development and ensure scaling and performance expectations are met.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, 6+ years of technical engineering experience including cloud and distributed systems, and 2+ years of technical leadership experience. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees or extensive experience and 4+ years of people management.
