Overview
Microsoft is seeking a Principal Customer Experience Engineer who is customer-obsessed and AI-curious. Working within the Azure CXP team, you will transform cloud customers into fans through in-depth engineering engagements, customer insights, and close collaboration with multiple teams.
Responsibilities
You will improve customer experience on Azure by:
- Analyzing and comprehending complex customer architectures.
- Utilizing engineering tools and customer telemetry to identify feature gaps.
- Collaborating with the Customer Reliability Engineering team to implement SRE practices.
- Implementing resiliency improvements and conducting health checks and architectural reviews.
- Partnering with product and support teams to drive platform improvements.
- Leading cross-functional discussions to incorporate customer feedback.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics/Science, AI or related field with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent. Customer facing experience is required, with additional preferred experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
Compensation & Application
This is a highly competitive role with base pay ranges from USD $139,900 to $274,800 (with location-based adjustments for major metropolitan areas). Microsoft will accept applications until October 15, 2025.
