We are actively seeking a Measurement Lead to join our Global Measurement and Insights (GMI) team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a subject-matter expert in measurement, data, and identity, executing measurement strategies and leveraging solutions to help advertisers prove business impact in a privacy-safe world.
You will play a crucial role in shaping how advertisers quantify media effectiveness, developing advanced measurement approaches, and harnessing data and identity to drive superior decisions across Microsoft's AI-enabled platforms. Collaboration will be key, as you partner with Analytical Leads, Sales teams, Technical Program Managers, and external advertisers on comprehensive measurement plans, all with the goal of optimizing their return on investment and fostering growth.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Measurement Lead, you are integral to delivering trusted and actionable insights that enable advertisers to flourish with Microsoft Ads. Your responsibilities will include:
- Shaping how advertisers measure impact across Microsoft’s AI-powered ecosystem.
- Leading the development and implementation of advanced measurement solutions that influence product decisions, strategic direction, and overall business outcomes.
- Serving as a primary measurement expert and strategist for both cross-functional internal teams and external advertisers.

Please note: Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated U.S. Microsoft office or a 25-mile commute of a non-U.S. country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This policy is subject to local laws and jurisdictional variations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to thoroughly understand measurement needs, goals, and desired business outcomes for advertisers.
- Develop and rigorously apply advanced measurement frameworks, including attribution, incrementality, experimentation, cross-channel measurement, and insights generation, to precisely quantify advertising impact.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients’ measurement, data science, and analytics teams, establishing yourself as a trusted strategic advisor.
- Synthesize crucial feedback from clients to inform product roadmaps and prioritization, addressing measurement gaps, evolving customer needs, and emerging industry trends.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Technical Program Managers (TPMs), Sales, and fellow measurement experts to drive widespread adoption of new measurement capabilities.
- Work in tandem with Analytical Leads to generate actionable insights and translate these insights into concrete strategies that enhance performance and improve business outcomes.
- Be a recognized thought leader in modern measurement practices, emerging privacy standards, innovative identity solutions, and the ever-evolving ecosystem changes.
- Actively evangelize measurement best practices internally and externally, effectively representing Microsoft Ads’ comprehensive measurement capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or a related field AND 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis; OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or a related field AND 4+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis; OR
- Equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or a related field AND 6+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis; OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or a related field AND 8+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis; OR
- Equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in modern measurement methodologies such as attribution, incrementality, experimentation design, and lift studies.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data and analysis into clear business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Solid cross-functional collaboration and effective communication skills.
- Experience in digital platforms or advertising measurement roles at scale.
- Practical experience with advertising measurement tools, analytics platforms, experimentation frameworks, and data infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product direction and go-to-market outcomes through strong measurement leadership.
- Familiarity with privacy-safe measurement approaches and identity resolution frameworks.
