Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
This is a high-impact, execution-focused opportunity to drive integrated marketing initiatives that connect innovative startups with customers, partners, and internal teams. Working at the intersection of events, content, social media, and partner marketing, you will orchestrate cross-channel activations that bring compelling startup stories to life across priority industry verticals. This role requires a strategic coordinator who can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes while maintaining momentum across multiple concurrent workstreams. You will serve as the connective tissue between diverse teams, ensuring seamless execution of marketing plans that support ecosystem growth and market engagement. The position demands both creative storytelling ability and operational excellence, as you translate complex technology solutions into industry-relevant narratives while managing the tactical details that bring campaigns and events to successful completion.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute industry and startup go-to-market marketing plans supporting priority verticals and partner initiatives
- Orchestrate event activations including startup showcases, panel discussions, and ecosystem engagement moments across multiple channels
- Develop and coordinate startup storytelling assets including event content, customer evidence materials, social media moments, case studies, and speaker coordination
- Partner with content, social media, events, account-based marketing, and operations teams to deliver cohesive integrated campaigns
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across marketing, partner, and field teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution
- Track performance metrics and outcomes related to events and campaigns, including engagement levels and pipeline signals
- Advance event plans by managing speakers, agendas, run-of-show documents, and cross-functional deliverables
- Maintain momentum across multiple workstreams by unblocking dependencies and keeping stakeholders informed
- Ensure messaging and creative assets remain aligned across all teams and activation touchpoints
- Update briefs, recaps, and action items to support ongoing and upcoming activations
Requirements
- Five to eight years of experience in integrated marketing, partner marketing, or go-to-market execution
- Proven track record executing events, campaigns, and cross-channel activations
- Experience working in business-to-business technology, cloud, or startup environments strongly preferred
- Background supporting startup ecosystems, marketplace programs, or partner co-sell initiatives is a plus
- Experience working with agencies or as a vendor embedded within in-house teams is beneficial
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or startup go-to-market motions advantageous
- Integrated marketing execution across multiple channels and formats
- Event planning and activation management for both internal and external audiences
- Cross-functional stakeholder coordination in matrixed organizational structures
- Storytelling and narrative development for complex technology solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Ability to simplify and translate technical concepts into compelling industry narratives
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities
- Capacity to manage multiple parallel workstreams simultaneously
- Performance tracking and campaign measurement
- Collaboration across content, social media, events, and partner marketing functions
Additional Details
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 4 Months
- Pay Range: $43 - $48.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
