Overview
Microsoft's Customer Experience and Success (CE&S) organization is on a mission to empower customers to accelerate business value through differentiated customer experiences. The role is part of the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team and calls for experts in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while driving AI transformation.
Responsibilities
Business Integration: Implement strategic decisions with customers, partners, and teams; influence peers to implement strategy.
Product/Process Improvement: Develop automation techniques, tools, and provide product feedback for improvements; participate in case triage, knowledge sharing, and readiness feedback.
Response and Resolution: Act as a customer advisor to handle complex or escalated cases; create technical articles and perform detailed troubleshooting using diagnostic tools.
Collaboration: Work cross-team to resolve technical issues by engaging support engineering groups, product groups and account teams.
Readiness & Mentoring
Implement end-to-end readiness programs including mentoring, leading triages, creating content, and technical articles. Develop expert level competence and share best practices for smoother case resolutions.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, and significant technical support or consulting experience. Security screening and citizenship verification are required.
Additional preferred qualifications include cloud experience, automation scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Java), Azure Identity management, various IT certifications, and prior experience in Security Incident Response and Network/Security Administration.
Compensation & Duration
The typical base pay range for this role is between USD 85,100 - 169,800 per year with location-specific adjustments in major metropolitan areas. This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days and applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the role is filled.
