Overview
Aspire to develop the skill set of a Chief Financial Officer? In the role of Finance Manager - Core FP&A at Microsoft, you will gain insight into company-wide financials and contribute to strategic decision-making by partnering with diverse internal stakeholders including Board of Directors, Senior Leadership, and Corporate Strategy teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop trusted partnerships across Corporate Strategy, HR, Tax, Accounting, and Finance teams.
- Perform detailed financial modeling, reporting and presentations.
- Simplify complex financial data for leadership decisions.
- Drive efficiency and automation within financial rhythms of business.
- Execute time-sensitive deliverables under pressure with a team spirit.
- Contribute to team growth through mentorship, coaching, recruiting, onboarding, and training.
- Manage multiple workstreams and clarify ambiguous scenarios.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field along with 2+ years of related experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance. Equivalent experience is also considered.
Compensation & Additional Information
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD 76,800 - 151,900 per year, with different ranges for specific locations (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area: USD 100,800 - 168,000). This position is open for at least 5 days with ongoing applications until filled. Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
