Role Summary
The Digital Solution Engineer focuses on Azure Application Innovation within the Azure Sales Team. In this customer-facing and hands-on technical role, you will drive technical engagements by designing, building, and operating cloud solutions for enterprise customers. You will lead architecture discussions with senior executives and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure smooth cloud adoption and technical integration.
Responsibilities
- Customer Centricity: Understand business and IT priorities, drive architectural reviews, and conduct technical workshops.
- Business Impact: Accelerate cloud adoption and consumption, remove technical blockers, and drive customer success.
- Technical Leadership: Learn new technologies, share insights, participate in community events, and contribute to best practices.
- Collaboration: Build deep relationships with senior customer executives and partner teams to ensure smooth project implementations.
Qualifications
Required: 7+ years in technical sales, design, architecture or cloud deployments; strong relationship building; effective problem solving; excellent presentation and communication skills; enterprise-scale technical expertise with cloud and hybrid infrastructures; solid understanding of DevOps and technical certification. Preferred: Experience in consulting/architect roles for major tech companies and proficiency in multiple cloud technologies including Azure, networking, and application integrations.
