Role Description

As a Data Scientist on the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Experience Application team, you will collaborate with business and AI leaders, internal users, and partners to develop AI/ML solutions that address key business needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with applied scientists and software engineers.
• Develop AI features for Dynamics 365 products.
• Implement and assess Large Language Models and AI pipelines.
• Guide data selection and build AI applications.
• Record and share experimental findings.
• Collaborate with product teams to design AI-driven experiences.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field with relevant years of experience, or equivalent practical experience. Applicants should have 1+ year experience building generative AI applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Design and implementation of model finetuning pipelines.
• Experience with transformer architectures and reinforcement learning.
• Publication and external sharing of research work.
• Expertise in scaling Generative AI pipelines.

Additional Information

The role requires onsite presence 3 days a week in Microsoft offices in Redmond, WA. Base pay ranges across the U.S. vary; for Redmond, WA, an educated guess for this role is around 150,000 per year. Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer. Applications accepted until October 17, 2025.
