Job Description

Overview

Microsoft is seeking a Data Infrastructure & Governance Analyst within its AI Strategy and Business Innovation organization to drive high‑priority programs enabling AI deployment and responsible data practices. This role is an individual contributor working across engineering, analytics, finance, and business operations to ensure data infrastructure, governance, and quality standards align with enterprise governance and Responsible AI requirements.

About The Team

This position sits within the Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) and Global Customer Success (GCS) organizations. These teams deliver human‑centered, digitally enabled customer experiences and enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud through AI and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Data Infrastructure Enablement: Collaborate with data engineering teams to support scalable data pipelines and analytical infrastructure for AI workloads.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Implement governance standards, document data sources, and support metadata management and compliance activities.
  • AI Acceleration Support: Ensure high-quality data is prepared for AI model training, inference, and evaluation.
  • Insights & Reporting: Monitor data quality, governance adoption, and continuously improve processes through automation and process refinements.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, or data analysis, plus 2+ years managing cross-functional projects.

Preferred: Understanding of data management concepts, experience with Responsible AI standards, enterprise data platforms, and strong communication skills.

Compensation & Duration

This role has a competitive base pay range depending on location. It will remain open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted until filled.
