Overview

As a Microsoft Data Center Technician Manager, you will lead a team of technicians, providing expert guidance on hardware deployments, equipment diagnostics, and decommissioning processes. You will support technician performance by prioritizing tasks while monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Role and Responsibilities

This role within Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) involves delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft online services such as Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure. You will also:

  • Lead and mentor a team of data center technicians.
  • Ensure efficient hardware deployments and diagnostics.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs while managing daily tasks.
