About the Cloud Solution Architect Role

There has never been a more exciting time to be working in healthcare at Microsoft. The Health & Life Sciences Solutions organization is an interdisciplinary team of product managers, designers, engineers, and clinicians designing, developing and deploying next-generation healthcare solutions powered by the Microsoft Cloud for healthcare organizations around the world.

Role Overview

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be an integral member of a team within HLS Solutions tasked with empowering clinicians with groundbreaking healthcare-oriented copilots. The role emphasizes project management, instructional design and delivery, training, change management, and user engagement to deploy new technologies and enhance healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate blockers to speed up solution deployment.
  • Apply business, technical, or industry knowledge to support projects.
  • Deliver seamless customer and partner experiences with minimal supervision.
  • Understand customer goals and define appropriate success criteria.
  • Communicate delivery gaps to teams and stakeholders to drive improvements.
  • Assist in developing or updating Microsoft frameworks and methodologies.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field with experience in Health/Life Sciences industries and cloud/infrastructure technologies. Must be proficient in German and English.

Preferred: Experience in customer-facing roles, technical projects, and relevant Technical Certifications in Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google, security certifications).
