Overview

Microsoft invites you to join as a Cloud and AI Solution Engineer. In this role, you are at the forefront of deploying secure, scalable, AI-powered solutions for the Financial Services Industry in Sydney. Work side-by-side with customers and partners to design innovative systems on Azure AI, AI Foundry, Responsible AI, and Microsoft’s cloud platform.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

  • Drive technical sales conversations using demos and proof-of-concepts.
  • Lead hackathons, code sessions, and architecture workshops.
  • Build trusted relationships with developers and platform leaders.
  • Resolve technical blockers and provide feedback to engineering teams.
  • Develop expertise in AI Foundry, Agentic AI frameworks, Semantic Kernel and more.
  • Grow skills in cloud-native development including APIs, containerization, microservices, and programming in Python, Java, or .NET.
  • Expand knowledge in AI management, GenAI Ops, Sentinel, and monitoring.
  • Represent Microsoft as a thought leader in various forums.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Preferred additional qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience with cloud/hybrid or on-prem infrastructures and architecture designs.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Architect, Cloud Platform Technologies).
