Overview
The Chief of Staff at Microsoft Azure Core plays a leadership role in driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives within one of the fastest-growing cloud businesses. This role supports the Corporate Vice President (CVP) and involves working with key technical leadership and cross-boundary teams to translate business priorities into actionable outcomes.
Responsibilities
In this role, the Chief of Staff:
- Drives strategic initiatives and thought leadership.
- Partners with the CVP to shape and execute group strategy.
- Leads the Rhythm of the Business (RoB) and internal communications.
- Collaborates with HR to enhance organizational health and culture.
- Manages operational efficiency and process improvements.
- Coordinates executive and external communications and engagements.
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in financial management, business planning, operations, or strategy, with demonstrated analytical, communication, and leadership skills. A Bachelor's Degree is required, with preference given to candidates with additional advanced experience or education. Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and a history of influencing stakeholders is essential.
