Overview

Our Geo MCAPS Asia HR team plays a pivotal role in enabling Asia’s growth vision. As we set our future success, we are seeking an Asia HR Solutions Lead to help us design and activate AI-powered solutions that build efficiencies, drive high performance, and support a future-ready organization. This role supports in designing, deploying, and continuously improving scalable business applications using Microsoft PowerApps and the wider Power Platform. The successful candidate will partner closely with HR, business operations, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into intuitive, data-driven applications—enabling automation, scale, improved decision-making, and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a technical individual contributor with understanding of HR systems and processes who thrives in ambiguous environments, enjoys working with imperfect data, and can turn insight into action through elegant, adoptable solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to understand business needs, translate requirements into user-friendly applications, maintain them, and drive automation across HR/business teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about simplifying complexity, scaling innovation, and building unified rhythms that elevate HR’s strategic influence, solving for efficiency and enhanced capability. There is flexibility for this role to be based in other locations across Asia, where a Microsoft site is present (no relocation support).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy PowerApps canvas and model-driven applications tailored to business needs.
  • Build automated workflows using Power Automate, integrating with multiple business systems.
  • Develop and maintain Dataverse, SharePoint lists, SQL tables, and other data sources leveraged by PowerApps.
  • Use AI in HR applications to take drudgery out of work.
  • Lead requirement-gathering workshops; translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications and maintain and enhance current Performance Dashboard, Talent Compass, and Tech Intensity systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure applications are user-friendly and scalable.
  • Conduct data modeling, ensure data integrity, and implement governance & security best practices.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to end users.
  • Apply best practices for app lifecycle management, performance optimization, and security/role-based access.
  • Collaborate with engineering and SE&O teams to implement enhancements aligned with HR and business priorities.
  • Stay current with Power Platform and AI-led automation capabilities to drive innovation.

  • Adoption of dashboards/tools by HR and business leaders for data-backed decision-making across a spectrum of business and org priorities.

  • Scalable solutions reused across multiple Asia markets.

Success Is Delivered Through

  • Lead HR Tech Initiatives: Act as a central point for piloting, diffusing, and enabling Tech solutions in Asia HR, simplifying and prioritizing HR processes, and supporting scalable tech adoption across teams. Understand existing processes and rhythms to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency using tools such as Power Automate, Azure AI, and other intelligent systems. Explore, design, and implement agent-based solutions (e.g., copilots, intelligent assistants, AI solutions) as a new paradigm for workflow redesign, org effectiveness, enabling HR teams to get future ready. Understand quarterly/yearly demand, problem statements, and lead end-to-end process analysis and redesign efforts to streamline workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Tool Collaboration: Partner regularly with HR teams, Finance teams, Business Teams and occasionally with Engineering, Talent Management, and AI Center of Excellence teams to ensure alignment on tools, platforms, data governance, and integration strategies.
  • Continuous Impact Evaluation: Establish feedback loops and measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of tech-enabled solutions—using data and insights to iterate, refine, and continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and engagement of tool experiences.
  • Set Standards, Best Practices, and Impact Evaluation: Develop and maintain measurement tools/automatic scorecards/dashboards to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and sharing best practices across regions in Asia.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years experience in enabling technology solutions, program management, process management, process improvement for HR, Sales, or Finance functions. OR equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and deploying PowerApps (canvas/model-driven) applications, Power BI, DAX, and Fabric—owning data modeling, metric design, and executive ready visualization.
  • Ability to manage projects from discovery to deployment, and to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience automating HR or business workflows using the Power Platform.
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, or Dynamics 365.
  • Skilled in building and integrating business applications, including exposure to Data engineering, modeling, data quality checks & logic science.
  • Understanding of AI-enabled development (Copilot for PowerApps/Automate).
  • Experience working in Agile or project-based delivery environments.
  • Comfortable running workshops, training sessions, and demos.
