Within CO+I, the Core Operations & Functions Team is responsible for delivering datacenter capacity for Microsoft’s Cloud Business worldwide, managing a portfolio of complex, end-to-end projects.
The AMERS Scheduling Manager will lead the Americas End-to-End (E2E) Scheduling Team, which is critical for managing top-line critical path delivery schedules for new CO+I data centers. This team serves as a vital connection and orchestration point, ensuring a fully integrated schedule across all segments to support overall data center delivery. Additionally, this leader will drive several high-visibility initiatives focused on refining how Microsoft captures schedule commitments and integrates schedules across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
As the AMERS Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the AMERS Scheduling Team, overseeing End-to-End top-line production schedules.
- Working effectively under pressure and deadlines, navigating ambiguity to drive clarity and resolution.
- Collaborating across organizational boundaries to build alignment and ensure closure on critical issues.
- Managing the execution, planning, and development of integrated master schedules for major projects and programs across the portfolio.
- Overseeing and managing portfolio and program-level schedules, developing detailed schedules from inception to completion.
- Developing schedule mitigation strategies, reporting on schedule issues and critical tasks to management, analyzing schedule sensitivity and risk, and recommending solutions for high-risk areas.
- Coordinating with all segments and functional organizations to ensure the execution system aligns with organizational processes and goals through tactical management of the integrated master schedule.
- Establishing and maintaining standard detailed project delivery schedule templates with identified key milestones.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and providing direction on the overall health, risks, and progress of schedules through coordination with other segments.
- Advising management on the status of work-in-progress, critical need-by and delivery dates, and potential delays.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year of project or people management experience.
- 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing/leading large-scale Program Planning/Scheduling teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field AND 7+ years of work experience in program management, process management, or process improvement.
- Expert user of Primavera P6 or MS Project with at least 5 years of experience.
- Proven success in a lead role managing schedule development/management on a portfolio of medium to large-scale projects.
- Expertise with schedule analysis and Critical Path Method (CPM) methodology.
- Data Analysis experience.
- Creative problem-solving skills and strong collaboration abilities across global teams.
