Microsoft Advertising (MSA) helps the world's largest advertisers achieve their maximum potential using our digital advertising platform. We are seeking top-performing Advertising Account Executives with digital advertising experience who can drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction. This is achieved by developing and nurturing strategic client relationships and delivering customized solutions that align with client advertising needs.
As an Advertising Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining accounts and relationships for our highest-value new business in your local market. You will collaborate closely with the Acquisition Account Executive and Growth Account Manager to drive significant growth across your client portfolio on Microsoft Advertising platforms. Your expertise in Search and technical knowledge, commitment to operational efficiencies, and excellent customer service will not only help these new accounts meet their goals and KPIs but also ensure a positive experience as they partner with Microsoft.

Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and execute MSA sales strategy and priorities to enable client growth of existing and new products, positioning outcomes within the client's digital marketing journey.
- Influence CMO and Chief Digital Marketing Stakeholders through compelling storytelling, emotional intelligence, confident communication, and effective listening to identify end-to-end client needs.
- Lead Sales planning with the Account v-team, achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets while identifying new share-of-wallet opportunities with Audience ads and other incubation products.
- Ensure shared accountability for sales targets with the v-team, partnering to bring the best resources for deal success.
- Expand the client's view of MSA products' importance, negotiating effectively to ensure both parties feel they are winning, and maintaining positive relationships during difficult objections.
- Lead pipeline updates, reviewing top new opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensuring appropriate resources are engaged to overcome client objections.
- Execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, and opportunity management goals following the MSA Solution Selling process, driving for client verifiable outcomes at each stage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field AND consolidated experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media or digital advertising; OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or a related field AND several years of experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media or digital advertising; OR equivalent experience.
- Extended experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media or digital advertising.
- Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service.
- Proven ability to build strong client relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive account growth.
- Customer obsession, a passion for innovation, and best-practice sharing, coupled with delivering exceptional results over time.
- Proven track record of exceptional performance, measured against revenue and customer satisfaction.
