About the role
Video Editor/ UGC Expert
Join our customer’s team as a Video Editor/UGC Expert and play a pivotal role in crafting engaging, authentic content for a variety of digital platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with creative strategists and marketers, transforming user-generated and in-house footage into compelling stories that drive brand engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage and user-generated content (UGC) into polished, high-quality videos aligned with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative content concepts, ensuring each project’s narrative resonates with the target audience.
- Optimize video content for multiple platforms, including social media, ads, and websites, ensuring aspect ratios, captions, and pacing fit channel requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest video trends, tools, and social media best practices to innovate and elevate content quality.
- Source, organize, and maintain video asset libraries and ensure proper documentation for future use.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders promptly while maintaining consistency and quality across projects.
- Assist in simple motion graphics, audio editing, and color correction as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in video editing and content creation, ideally with user-generated content or digital-first brands.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling ability and a keen sense for pacing, transitions, and visual engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear collaboration and feedback exchange.
